"A Beautiful House Makes A Beautiful Life"

I worked with Kshama after recently moving to Palo Alto. I needed to furnish most of our new home, and I needed to do it on a tight timeline because I was expecting in 4 months! She was amazing! Room by room, she laid out a plan sending me mood boards, collaborating with me until we found the right furniture fit...all the way down to the wallpaper and paint. She did a wonderful job balancing my preferences, along with her candid feedback around what furniture items would go together and why (e.g. texture / color / style clashes). She is also incredibly reliable and proactive (e.g. sharing frequent updates on when items are in stock / are being shipped, measuring my space and accompanying furniture set-ups / shade installations to ensure items are assembled properly). Kshama takes tremendous pride in her work and in helping clients craft their personal vision of a space. Because of her, I finally have a cohesive home my family and I can enjoy!!

We worked with Kshama for the design of two of our homes (first a townhouse and then a single family house). She helped in designing all areas of the house — living, dining, kitchen, bedrooms, home office, bathrooms, and also a sunroom in the single family home… pretty much the whole space in both homes. 

She took time to fully understand our needs and provided very helpful feedback and direction on how the design needs to be for each and every space. She not only is personable but also organized and persistent. We wanted to add some distinct details in the house and Kshama came up with some really great architectural features that gave each space its own unique personality.  

She was instrumental in helping us to understand the process and set a realistic plan.  It was very seamless and easy to work with her. She worked with our budget and ensured we covered all essential aspects of the design from architectural details, color schemes, material & finish selections, furniture selection down to the last decor items. Working with her during the build phase was very efficient as she kept us updated on the progress frequently and when some unexpected hiccups occurred, she handled it smoothly with the contractors without us needing to get stressed out. She is very responsive with quick turn around time, has a great sense of space planning and how a space should flow, and a good eye for functional yet beautifully cohesive design.

We were impressed by Kshama’s knowledge and expertise – her designs are elegant and integrative, and she showed an excellent ability to understand the style we wanted even if we could sometimes only vaguely indicate what we did not like. She would always offer options that work best for us and the space keeping in mind our preferences! In the end, we were extremely happy with her design and we love our thoughtfully designed cozy, cohesive and functional space (we get complements for our home all then time from visiting friends and family!)
